The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Control & Quality Assurance Inspector, Level 2 to join our team at a job site near Cache Creek, BC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, structural, and mechanical scopes including rotating equipment to ensure all work complies with project specifications, codes and industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, operational environment.
Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off, 10 hour working days
LOA Provided.
Start: July 2026
End: October 2026
Compensation/Benefits
Can hire as a direct employee or as a *Direct Service Provider/Sub Contractor.
Competitive hourly rate. Negotiable, based on experience.
Eligible for bonus (depending on overall company performance).

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develop discipline specific ITPs and ensure stages are followed.
Coordinate with facility owner on inspections as required.
Complete project quality records, logs and turnover documents.
Material receiving, inspection and verification.
Build and review WPS/NDE Matrices.
Select appropriate WPS for the code/material/design conditions.
Appropriate planning of work to ensure project requirements are being met.
Sub contractor quality management, status oversight and review and approval of documents.
Read civil, structural and piping drawings, GA's and PID's.
Coordinate, monitor and review NDT and reporting.
Monitoring of welding, weld mapping and visual inspections.
Able to construct hydrotest packs and complete final walkdowns
Complete redline and as-built drawings integrated with RFIs & MoC directives.
Mechanical (Rotating), Piping and Structural inspections and reporting.
Education/Skills/Qualifications
CWB Level 2 certification with 5+ years of plant site experience.
Experience with API 653, AWWA, AMPP (formally NACE) Level 2 or 3.
Strong time management skills and ability to handle a multitude of concurrent tasks.
Strong computer skills, especially in the use of Microsoft and Google Suite of products. We are a Google-based company.
Self-motivated, organized and able to work in a high-pressure deadline driven environment.
Understands Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment.
Physically fit. Must be able to climb scaffolding, access trenches and work in variable weather conditions.
Must have the following safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, CSTS-2020
Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
