Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in Cypress Automation Testing and Headless WordPress applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of modern web applications built using Headless CMS architecture. This role requires expertise in test automation, API testing, UI validation, and CI/CD integration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications.
Validate Headless WordPress implementations, including content delivery via REST APIs and GraphQL.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Cypress API testing, or similar frameworks.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
Validate frontend applications built with React, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks consuming WordPress content.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
4+ years of QA and Test Automation experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Cypress Automation Framework.
Experience testing Headless WordPress CMS environments.
Knowledge of WordPress REST API and GraphQL testing.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong understanding of API testing methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
