Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Python Java Developer Location: Montreal, QC Duration: 6 Months Employment Type: Contract Work Arrangement: Onsite preferred (5 days/week); hybrid option available (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Python Java Developer to support the development of data-driven and machine learning-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python as a primary programming language, along with working knowledge of Java, and experience in building scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and Java Build and support machine learning models and data-driven solutions Work with databases and data platforms, including Snowflake Develop and optimize data pipelines and backend services Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of applications Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development environments Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement Required Qualifications Strong experience in Python (primary programming language) Working knowledge of Java Experience with Machine Learning concepts and implementation Hands-on experience with Snowflake and database systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agentic AI or similar advanced AI frameworks Willingness and aptitude to learn emerging AI technologies Familiarity with modern data engineering and cloud platforms Skills & Competencies Python development and scripting Java programming Machine learning and data modeling Database management and Snowflake Backend development and system design Analytical thinking and troubleshooting Communication and teamwork Additional Information 6-month contract with potential extension Flexible hybrid work model available Opportunity to work on advanced AI and data-driven technologies For more details reach at resumes@navitassols.com .
