Job DescriptionJob Description Proposal Specialist (Commercial Construction) Full-Time | Permanent Edmonton, AB | Onsite Salary: $80,000–$120,000 Description Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Specialist to join our team in Edmonton. In this role, you'll lead the development of high-quality proposals, qualifications, presentations, and marketing materials that support business development and project pursuits. You'll work closely with operations, estimating, and business development teams to create compelling submissions that help us win new work while supporting our company's marketing and branding initiatives. What You'll Be Doing Coordinate and prepare RFQs, RFPs, EOIs, and proposal submissions from start to finish. Review client requirements and develop proposal schedules and submission plans. Collaborate with operations, estimating, and business development teams to gather technical information. Write, edit, proofread, and format clear, compelling, and client-focused proposal responses. Design professional proposals and presentations using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office. Maintain proposal templates, resumes, project profiles, photography, and content libraries. Monitor procurement websites to identify new business opportunities. Help improve proposal processes, templates, and submission tools. Support marketing initiatives and corporate branding across the organization. Create client presentations, award submissions, brochures, and promotional materials. Coordinate project photography, success stories, and project profiles. Assist with website updates, social media content, and internal communications. Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with company brand standards. Support company events, community initiatives, and employee engagement activities. What You Must Have Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in proposal coordination, marketing, or communications. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint. Exceptional organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in commercial construction, engineering, or the AEC industry is considered an asset.
