Job summary: The Civil Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil engineering projects and major maintenance works, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with technical, safety, and airport operational requirements. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate civil engineering and major maintenance projects, including schedules and work programs, while minimizing disruption to airport operations. Supervise construction and maintenance works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Manage contractors by monitoring work progress, quantities, completion, and compliance with contractual requirements. Review drawings, method statements, and technical submissions, providing engineering solutions to technical and site-related issues. Monitor project costs, timelines, risks, and potential delays or cost overruns, providing regular progress updates and forecasts. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards and prevent defects and rework. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, airport regulations, risk assessments, and approved method statements throughout project execution. Prepare project progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, approvals, invoices, variations, and project tracking records. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 4–7 years of relevant experience in construction, civil engineering, or maintenance projects, including Quantity Surveying experience. Experience in infrastructure, buildings, airports, or large-scale facilities, with proven experience managing contractors and site works. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and civil engineering systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Good understanding of BOQs, cost estimation, and project cost and schedule control. Intermediate or higher level of English What do we offer?
