Job DescriptionJob Description Project Coordinator /Admin- Cast in Place (High Rise) Location: Burlington, ON (Onsite) Salary: $80,000–$100,000 CAD (commensurate with experience) About our Client They are a growing construction management company specializing in complex cast-in- place concrete and multi-residential construction projects across Ontario. They are committed to delivering high-quality projects through collaboration, innovation, and strong client relationships. Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Admin to join their project management team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career construction professional who is eager to build their experience working alongside experienced Project Managers and Site Supervisors on challenging and rewarding projects. Position Overview As a Project Coordinator/Admin, you will provide critical administrative and technical support throughout all phases of construction, from pre-construction and tendering through project completion and turnover. Working closely with Project Managers, Estimators and Site Supervisors, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. What You'll Do Assist the Project Manager in organizing and coordinating all aspects of the construction projects. Provide high-level support in the tendering phase (liaise with subcontractors to obtain pricing and update trade lists). Coordinate and follow up on plans and shop drawings. Manage change orders and ensure the construction site is aware of changes as soon as possible. Receive, generate, track and respond to the requests for information (RFI) using construction management software. Provide support as required to the site and Health and Safety team. Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule. Organize and maintain project site files and documents; manage electronic document database and/or file sharing site. Maintain up-to-date, accurate documents for the project including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, etc. Follow-up, compile and review subcontractor/supplier progress applications and payment certificates for completeness. Liaise with architects, consulting engineers, subcontractors and suppliers regarding contract and change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQ, etc. Prepare and participate in meetings with project teams, architects, consultants and subcontractors. Prepare and distribute accurate and detailed meeting minutes in a timely manner. Assist with providing final document turnover to the client at completion of project. Coordinate deficiencies in a timely manner. Maintain project awareness to keep Project Manager and others informed about status and potential project issues. Provide other technical office support as required by the project team Required Qualifications 1 - 3 years of project coordination or project admin role experience in a construction project support role, preferably a General Contractor or subcontractor. Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Adequate knowledge of contracts, drawings, specifications, scheduling, and HSE practices. Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings and other construction documents. Works effectively in a team environment. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Procore, MS Office, MS Project; experience with SharePoint is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged. Strong problem-solving and time management abilities. Compensation Package: Competitive salary: $80,000–$100,000 CAD , based on experience. Comprehensive health and benefits package.
