About the Project Coordinator Role
As a key member of the project team, the Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager throughout all phases of construction by coordinating subcontractor and contract documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, project costs, and closeout activities. This role serves as a critical liaison between project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and engineers, ensuring construction documents, drawings, schedules, and project records remain accurate, organized, and up to date. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable interpreting construction plans and specifications while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Typical Responsibilities of our Project Coordinator:
Manage and ensure all subcontractor insurance, business licenses and additional project documents are collected and documented
Assist the project manager in generating subcontract scope of work based on contract documents vs. proposal
Review, analyze, and generate RFIs, submittals, and change orders under the direction of the Project Manager
Assist Project Managers with subcontract documentation including generating subcontract agreements, change orders and work orders.
Assist Project Managers with owner contract documentation including generating owner change orders.
Review RFIs for accuracy, references, and detail, including interpretation of drawings and specifications as they relate to RFIs
Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy according to construction plans
Document Management (Construction Plans)
Manage project closeout packages including creation and distribution of Warranties, As Built drawings, punch-lists and O&M manuals.
Liaison between Project Manager, Superintendent, Subcontractors Architects & Engineers
Management of construction plans and As-built drawings, ensuring they are kept up to date and in order
Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and updating of the project schedule
Establish material delivery schedules/logs from the submittal logs and assist in their integration into the project schedule
Assist project manager in tracking project costs, tracking change orders
Assist project manager and coordinators with project closeout
Facilitate project meetings, distribute meeting minutes to all team members.
On occasion, assist with the collection, review and approval of subcontractor monthly payment applications and releases.
Order Temp Services/Temp Utilities
Qualifications:
Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Adobe; experience with Procore is a plus
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Self-motivated, has the ability to accomplish tasks without direct oversight
Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
General knowledge of office protocol, routines, and procedures
Experience with Procore a plus

Base salary of $29 - $36 per hour based on experience
