For our branch in Atyrau we are looking for Project Controls Analyst Your Tasks Support the Project Controls team in the preparation and consolidation of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project reports. Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyse project data. Maintain project progress databases, trackers, registers, dashboards, and reporting tools. Perform data quality checks and reconcile information between schedules, progress registers, reports, and other project data sources. Analyse project performance Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based analytical and reporting tools using formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and related functionality. Develop, maintain, and improve automated reporting solutions. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data-processing and reporting activities and improve existing Project Controls workflows. Support progress measurement activities, including collection and validation of actual progress, planned-versus-actual analysis, and forecasting. Support Primavera P6 schedule updates and analysis under the guidance of senior planning personnel. Assist with review of schedule activities, dates, relationships, milestones, float, progress status, and look-ahead schedules. Support preparation of schedule extracts, progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and baseline-versus-current-versus-forecast comparisons. Assist senior Project Controls and Planning personnel with schedule reviews, data analysis, forecasting, and preparation of recovery or corrective-action information. Support coordination with project disciplines to obtain required progress and planning information and follow up on missing or inconsistent data. Prepare clear analytical summaries and presentations for Project Management and other stakeholders. Maintain structured Project Controls records, templates, and reporting documentation. Continuously develop knowledge of Primavera P6, planning and scheduling, progress measurement, and wider Project Controls practices. Perform other Project Controls duties as assigned by the line manager. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or another relevant discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Project Controls, Planning, Reporting, Project Analytics, or a similar project-based role. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, lookup and conditional functions, data validation, and analysis of large datasets. Strong practical knowledge of Power Query and experience in data transformation, consolidation, and automation. Experience developing or maintaining Power BI dashboards and management reporting tools. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and understanding of basic scheduling concepts Understanding of fundamental Project Controls concepts such as planning, progress measurement, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills High level of attention to detail and strong focus on data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Ability to work confidently with large volumes of information received from multiple project disciplines and data sources. Strong learning mindset.
