Job Description
BryceTech is seeking a Program Evaluation Analyst to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs and initiatives. The Program Evaluation Analyst will apply evaluation methodologies and analytical techniques to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable findings to support program and policy decisions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with program evaluation, performance measurement, data collection and analysis, and development of evaluation reports and presentations. The candidate should be comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative information and translating evaluation findings into clear recommendations for government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Support the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of program evaluation activities
Develop and refine evaluation questions, logic models, performance measures, indicators, and evaluation frameworks
Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative program data
Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, and other research to support program evaluation activities
Develop data collection instruments, interview protocols, surveys, assessment tools, and other evaluation materials
Assist with identifying appropriate evaluation methodologies, data sources, analytical approaches, and measures
Analyze program performance and outcomes to assess effectiveness, efficiency, reach, and impact
Identify trends, gaps, challenges, and opportunities based on evaluation findings
Prepare evaluation reports, technical memoranda, presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, and other products
Translate complex evaluation findings into clear, actionable recommendations for program managers and leadership
Support the development and tracking of program performance measures and outcomes
Assist with monitoring evaluation milestones, deliverables, data collection activities, and project schedules
Participate in stakeholder interviews, focus groups, working groups, and other evaluation-related engagements
Coordinate with CDC personnel, federal partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to obtain information and support evaluation activities
Support quality assurance and validation of evaluation data and analytical products
Assist with developing evaluation plans, implementation plans, and other program documentation
Maintain organized documentation of evaluation methodologies, data sources, assumptions, findings, and recommendations
Support continuous improvement activities by using evaluation findings to identify opportunities for program enhancement
Perform other related duties in support of CDC program evaluation and public health initiatives
