Job Description EMCO Fire Protection is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to join our team as Profit Centre Manager in Victoria, BC. As the Profit Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the business, including sales growth, profitability, teammate development, customer relationships, and market expansion. You will lead an established team and business while identifying opportunities to strengthen our market position and drive long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Recruit, develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team of teammates Create an engaging culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent Achieve sales, gross profit, and profit-sharing objectives through effective business leadership Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share and expand the business Establish performance expectations and hold teammates accountable for results Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve sales, profitability, productivity, and return on investment Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners Represent EMCO Fire Protection within the local business community, trade associations, and industry organizations Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and strategic growth initiatives Ensure the Profit Centre consistently exceeds customer service expectations Take ownership of purchasing strategies, inventory management, and marketing initiatives Safeguard and effectively manage all Profit Centre assets, including inventory, receivables, facilities, equipment, and vehicles Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations Develop future leaders and build long-term bench strength within the organization Perform additional responsibilities as required by the Regional Manager or President What Success Looks Like The successful candidate will be a driven and resilient leader who combines strong business acumen with a passion for developing people.
