Production Technician/Warehouse Labourer at LGG Industrial — NeverHard

This position is typically responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking product from the warehouse, shipping and receiving and the delivery of products to customers. Position: Production Technician Job Location: Nanaimo, BC Operating Business: LGG Industrial, LP Job Type: Full-Time Status: Non-Exempt Responsibilities Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable) Assists with physical inventory Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements Perform other duties as trained and qualified for Skills and Abilities Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner Must have good communication skills Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internet Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older 1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience A high school diploma or GED Reliable transportation is a must Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment Ability to work nights and weekends, as required Ability to work overtime, as required Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on-site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law) Preferred Qualifications Industrial setting experience Total Rewards Competitive compensation plan Health Benefits: medical, dental, vision, short term and long term disability Defined Contribution Pension Plan with company match Participation in annual bonus plan Equal Opportunity Employer We’re an equal opportunity employer.
