Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Production Associate Job Description This position involves operating various equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently to assemble roof trusses for the home construction industry. The role requires reading and interpreting plans and blueprints and performing visual quality checks. Responsibilities Operate equipment and hand tools to assemble wall panels, floor panels, and roof trusses. Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Assemble floors, roof trusses, and walls using supplied wood kits. Apply nail plates and use hammers, nail guns, and other tools to set up and assemble wood. Perform visual quality checks to ensure accurate assembly. Essential Skills Experience in construction, roofing, shop class, or home renovations. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws (must bring a hammer and tape measure to work). Ability to read a measuring tape in both standard and metric units. Shift The day shift runs from 7AM to 4:30PM Monday to Thursday, and 7AM to 2:30PM on Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thorndale, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Thorndale,ON.
