Position Purpose
The President of Wiehler Mechanical is responsible for leading the company in a way that reflects who we are and how we work. This role is about more than performance; it is about building a company where people take pride in their work, support one another, and are accountable to the commitments they make.
Reporting to the CEO, the President is responsible for executing company strategy across all divisions, including Production Plumbing, Production HVAC, Custom Homes Plumbing, Custom Homes HVAC, Commercial Mechanical, and Service.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Lead the execution of company strategy across all divisions, ensuring alignment with CEO priorities.
Create clarity and KPI’s around priorities, ownership, accountability, and performance expectations. Do this in conjunction with the people you lead.
Ensure consistent performance in project delivery, service operations, and financial outcomes.
Protect and strengthen the company’s culture as the business grows.
Operational Leadership
Provide leadership and direction to divisional managers.
Ensure each division operates effectively while working together as one company to capture the most value from the client flow.
Oversee the systems of execution of projects and service work to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, planning, communication, and execution.
Own overall company financial performance, including profitability, cash flow, and financial stability.
Ensure strong job costing discipline, forecasting, and margin management across all divisions.
Approve and manage budgets and operating plans.
Identify risks early and take corrective action where needed.
Ensure financial decisions align with long‑term sustainability, not just short‑term gain.
Lead, support, and develop divisional leaders and management teams, ensuring they are clear on expectations and accountable for results.
Build a high‑performing leadership culture grounded in trust, accountability, and collaboration.
Reinforce a culture where people take ownership of their work, teams support each other, quality is non‑negotiable and learning is encouraged.
Address performance issues directly and fairly, without avoidance or blame.
Execution & Communication
Establish regular cadence for planning, reporting, and accountability across divisions.
Ensure communication flows effectively between leadership, office, and field teams.
Provide CEO with straightforward, honest updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Act as the escalation point for major operational, financial, or people‑related issues.
External Relationships
Maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, homeowners, suppliers and service clients.
Represent Wiehler Mechanical professionally within the industry and broader business community.
Ensure commitments made to customers and partners are consistently delivered.
Key Measures of Success
Strong financial and operational performance across all divisions.
Operating systems and dashboards that indicate the direction of each division and provide leading indicators of the company’s direction.
Projects delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality.
Growth and reliability of all divisions.

Qualifications & Experience
Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L accountability.
Experience in mechanical contracting, construction, or a related trade environment is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of both project‑based and service‑based operations.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and build culture.
Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and job costing.
Experience leading within a private, owner‑led, or growth‑oriented business environment.
Compensation & Long‑Term Incentives
We offer a competitive executive compensation package that includes a base salary of $175,000.00, plus a performance‑based annual incentive.
In addition to the short‑term performance incentive, this role participates in an equity-like program tied directly to enterprise value growth, fully aligning the president’s compensation with the long‑term success of the business.
