Job DescriptionJob Description Multiple Locations Across Canada (AB, BC, SK, ON) Journeyman HET or Electrician – Power Generation Technician Temporary & Mobile Power Solutions Salary: $45.00–$55.00/hour, based on experience OUR CLIENT On behalf of our client, a leading provider of temporary and mobile power solutions, we are offering an opportunity to join their growing service team across multiple locations in Canada. This role supports critical infrastructure and industrial operations by delivering reliable energy solutions in both urban and remote environments. This is a field-based position where technicians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying power generation equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring uptime and performance of diesel and natural gas-powered systems while supporting a wide range of customer applications. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Off-Road) or Journeyman Electrician certification 4–7 years of hands-on experience with diesel or natural gas generators and compressors (Cummins, Volvo, Jenbacher or similar) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities Experience performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on power generation equipment Ability to read and interpret schematics and calculate kW or load requirements Valid driver's license and passport with ability to travel locally Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in field environments High school diploma or GED required WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generation and electrical distribution equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures in both shop and field settings Support equipment setup, commissioning, and operation at job sites Work independently or alongside a team of technicians on installations and service calls Travel locally on a daily basis using a company-provided vehicle WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
