As a Plumber at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge your care and attention to detail will ensure that our guests have a memorable stay in the Canadian Rockies. What you will be doing: Reporting to the Director, Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service Follow policies, procedures and service standards Responsible for all plumbing related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Provide troubleshooting expertise specific to high and low pressured steam mechanical system Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all plumbing systems Preventative maintenance of equipment pertaining to plumbing Ensure all work done in the plumbing department is in compliance with federal and provincial codes and regulations Ensure all power tools are in good and safe working conditions Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule based on volume of business Train and assist the shift maintenance colleagues Assist other trades as they relate to plumbing maintenance Communicate effectively and professionally with both guests and colleagues Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehicles Adhere to all safety protocols as defined by Occupational Health and Safety and Trade Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions.
