Job Description Duties & Responsibilities: Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to pipefitting crews on site Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily work activities to meet project schedules and quality requirements Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and execution requirements Ensure proper installation of piping systems including: Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipe Welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and joining piping systems Oversee installation of supports, valves, piping, and control systems Ensure crews perform system testing, flushing, and leak checks Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate resolutions with engineering and other trades Monitor workmanship and productivity, ensuring adherence to project standards Coordinate with other disciplines (welding, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) to ensure smooth execution Support commissioning and system turnover activities Assist with material tracking and may support basic cost estimating Maintain clear communication with project management and provide progress updates Other duties as required
