Job Summary
We are seeking a Ping Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale IAM and CIAM solutions using the Ping Identity suite. This role focuses on architecting secure, scalable authentication and authorization frameworks for large organizations. You will play a critical client‑facing role, driving technical strategy, architecture governance, and implementation excellence. The position requires deep expertise in identity protocols, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver complex IAM transformations.
Responsibilities
Architect and design end‑to‑end IAM/CIAM solutions using Ping Access Management and the broader Ping Identity suite (PingFederate, PingDirectory, PingOne).
Lead identity architecture for authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and federation use cases.
Design and implement secure integrations using SAML2.0, OAuth2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Develop and document solution architectures, HLDs, LLDs, and integration/security design patterns.
Guide development teams on Ping AM implementation standards, best practices, and coding approaches.
Act as the primary technical advisor in client discussions, architecture reviews, and solution presentations.
Support pre‑sales activities including solution estimation, proposal creation, and RFP/RFQ responses.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (application, security, infrastructure, DevOps) to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
Ensure non‑functional requirements such as performance, availability, scalability, and security are met.
Provide technical leadership during production issues, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization efforts.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IAM, CIAM, or cybersecurity architecture roles.
Strong hands‑on expertise with Ping Access Management and the Ping Identity suite.
Deep understanding of enterprise IAM/CIAM architectures and identity lifecycle management.
Proven experience with federated identity protocols including SAML2.0, OAuth2.0, and OpenID Connect.
Experience integrating IAM solutions with web, mobile, and API‑based applications.
Solid knowledge of Java‑based ecosystems and enterprise security design patterns.
Experience working in distributed (onshore/offshore) delivery models and leading cross‑functional teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Ping certifications are a plus.
