Position Summary
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:
Work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and increase function
Support and deliver individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities
Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT
Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities
Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices
Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT
Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records
Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment
Uphold ethical, professional standards in all interactions
Qualifications
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
Valid state PTA license
Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
CPR certification preferred
