Working in a computerized environment, the Pharmacy Assistant measures, compounds, packages and distributes drugs and medications as authorised by a Pharmacist; checks the work of other Pharmacy Assistants for completeness and accuracy; and maintains related records in accordance with established procedures. QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And Experience Grade 12, graduation from a recognised Pharmacy Assistant course, plus one (1) year's recent, related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills And Abilities Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Deal with others effectively. Physically able to perform the duties of the position. Type. Organize work.
