Compensation:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour + generous sign on bonus

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Pharmacy & Patient Care
Provide expert counseling on prescriptions, over-the-counter (OTC), and behind-the-counter (BTC) products.
Practice to the full extent of an expanded scope of professional services.
Ensure the absolute accuracy, safety, and appropriateness of all dispensed medications.
Communicate effectively within the patient’s circle of care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Operations & Workflow Management
Maintain strict control over dispensary access to safeguard inventory and patient confidentiality.
Review and manage daily workflow queues and "will call" bins in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor stock levels, manage wholesaler medication orders, and regularly review inventory to identify and remove expired stock.
Ensure full compliance with federal/provincial regulatory requirements, including documentation and reporting under the
Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Licensure:
Licensed and in good standing to practice pharmacy in the province.
Leadership:
Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments while coaching pharmacy colleagues.
Clinical Excellence:
Strong problem-solving skills with experience formulating and executing clinical action plans.
Communication:
Superior customer relations skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Tech Savvy:
Strong personal computing skills; knowledge of pharmacy management software is a definite asset.
