Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Italian Speaking Location: Burlington, ON Employment: Casual / As Needed Pay: $21.00/hour Start: ASAP HealthOPM staffing agency is recruiting an Italian-speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) for casual shifts in Burlington, Ontario. We are looking for compassionate and dependable PSWs who can communicate in Italian and provide quality, resident-centred care to older adults. The Role Assist residents with bathing, personal care, dressing, grooming and activities of daily living. Support mobility, transfers, repositioning and mealtime needs. Communicate with Italian-speaking residents to support their comfort and daily care needs. Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team. Follow resident care plans, infection-control practices and safety procedures. Provide respectful, compassionate and person-centred care. Requirements Recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate. Ability to speak and communicate effectively in Italian. Previous long-term care, retirement home or senior-care experience preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification, as required. Vulnerable Sector Check and required health/immunization documentation. Reliable transportation to Burlington. Flexible availability to pick up casual shifts. Ability to attend facility orientation and start as soon as possible. Interested?
