Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping your team informed on changes/results and share accountability for the overall performance, productivity and engagement.
Evaluate staff performance and prepare formal Performance Reviews.
Perform quality reviews on team members to record staff development.
Perform monthly individual team member one-to-one meetings to discuss performance, etc.
Perform Team Meetings on a regular basis to discuss changes, high-level team notes, etc.
Develop respectful and successful working relationships with our staff and branches.
Work with management on technical and administrative issues.
Ensure adherence to Ensure adherence to insurance carrier and Oracle RMS guidelines and procedures.
Train new hires and oversee performance and provide assistance
Overseeing 20+ employees (remote/hybrid/in-office)
Requirements
Having a Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario license (RIBO), CIP or CAIB certification is an asset
Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, policies and products
3+ years’ experience with Personal Lines Insurance experience
Prior leadership role experience is an asset
Excellent Customer Service, Communication and Computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
Ability to work as a team and work well under pressure
Superior organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Power Broker, Acturis and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) is an asset
Must be able to work from Concord office 5 days a week
License/Certification:
