Our client is an adult woman, living with mental health challenges in Central Ottawa. Our primary focus of care is meal preparation. We are seeking someone who can provide a nurturing and supportive adult caregiving experience, with strong instincts to ensure the clients safety and well-being at all times. The ability to learn and adapt to the clients specific preferences, while maintaining a high level of attentiveness, is essential.
You would be the ideal candidate if you are compassionate, reliable, and adaptable. Someone who takes pride and initiative in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment tailored to the clients needs.
Requirements:
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
Smartphone with a data plan
Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
Meal preparation experience & competency in this area is required
Assets:
Post Secondary education or strong personal experience
Imperative to have a high sense of awareness & attention to detail
Experience working with individuals living with Trauma/PTSD (Mental health).
Hours:
7.5 - 12.5 hours weekly
Rate of Pay:
$28/hour
