Role and Responsibilities:
The PC Inputter is responsible for taking the batches from the need input schedule and assign/check the labor
against the drawings within EPM. They must assign accordingly to the location that is given within the schedule
and make sure all the routing is correct from the shop that is given. They also need to make sure all sequence
numbers are correct to make sure the data matches from what the shipping schedule will show. They are also
responsible to spot check the hours to make sure there is no discrepancies from what the file import has given.
Also, they will make sure that all batches/drawings that are input when complete are populating onto the RMDB
schedule once they are run thru the schedule program.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge on drawings and how to read them to put the labor into EPM.
Must know the Estimating and PC modules of EPM to input the labor and routings within the system.
They also need to know the shop processes to accurately add time in for each drawing.
Must have knowledge of the schedule and know what needs to be input at that time and follow the correct delivery dates for the priority of work that is within Production Control.
Knowledge on schedule programming when running batches thru scheduler and checking the hours against what the scheduler program provides.
They also must have the knowledge to be able to input manually within EPM, this is for blue letters or anything other manual process when the files are not supplied by the detailers.
