To support our continued success, we are seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer who ensures that all parking regulations are followed without exception. Responsibilities:
Patrol an assigned area using a vehicle
Issue warnings and citations for illegally parked vehicles (using LPR vehicle system)
Identify vehicles in violation of parking regulations
Make arrangements for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles to be towed, and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehicles
Observe and report hazardous conditions, including unsafe or damaged signage within parking facilities.
Prepare and maintain required documentations, including parking enforcement, operational records and records of citations.
Maintain assigned equipment and supplies such as handheld devices, quote book, and related tools.
Provide information to the public regarding parking regulations and facilities
Inform the public of applicable policies, services or procedures
Identify stolen, or counterfeit parking permits
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Cautious and courteous driver, with a valid full provincial drivers license and a clean driving record
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage stressful situations
Ability to clearly and accurately communicate both writing and verbally
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of handheld computer, personal computer (Windows XP/Mobile) and mobile phone features
