In this role, you will translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling messaging and scalable communications solutions. Working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, you will leverage data, digital tools, and emerging technologies (including AI) to drive engagement, alignment, and measurable business impact, with clear accountability for enabling measurable business outcomes. This role focuses on enabling leaders and partners to deliver high-impact communications, scaling through influence and ensuring communications are directly tied to business outcomes. You will play a critical role in strengthening organizational communication, enabling leaders to communicate with clarity, consistency, and impact - especially in complex or high-stakes moments, with a clear link to business priorities and outcomes, and enhancing employee understanding during periods of transformation.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders, providing counsel on high-impact initiatives
Develop and execute integrated communications strategies aligned with business objectives enabling leaders and partners to execute effectively
Create clear executive messaging, storytelling, and value propositions for diverse audiences
Partner cross-functionally (HR, Legal, Government Affairs, etc.) to ensure message alignment and consistency
Lead internal and external communications plans, including change and transformation initiatives
Leverage data, insights, and AI/digital tools to improve communication effectiveness and scalability
Guide stakeholders and partners to deliver high-quality, on-brand content across channels
Measure and optimize communications using analytics, engagement metrics, and feedback
Drive alignment between communications strategies and business outcomes, ensuring efforts are focused on measurable impact rather than output
Apply strong judgment to prioritize highest-value work and challenge approaches to improve overall communications impact
Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor in complex, matrixed environments
Basic Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
7+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications
Proven experience developing strategic communications plans
Experience advising senior leaders or executives
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex projects
Preferred Skills / Experience
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries
Bilingualism (English/French)
Experience with change management communications
Familiarity with digital communications tools, AI, and analytics platforms
Background in consulting, media, or corporate strategy environments
Experience working in large, matrixed organizations

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Compensation & Benefits
Our Base Pay Range for this position $94,400 - $157,300
In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
