Position: Part-Time Security Guard - City of Kingston APAC Site: City of Kingston APAC - 382 Bagot St Hours: Saturday, Sunday 15:00-21:00 Payrate: $22.80/hour Overtime Method: Ontario Averaging Agreement (AA) After 88 hours Posting Date: May 12, 2026 Internal Closing Date: May 19, 2026 External Closing Date: June 30, 2026 Benefits of Joining Paladin Extensive training and professional development Competitive wages and benefits Free uniforms Security license reimbursement Dry cleaning and tailoring allowance Daily pay option (“Work today, get paid today”) Additional employee perks Job Responsibilities: Proactive & reactive security patrols Majority of shift will be spent conducting exterior patrols Response to incidents Enforce new rules Report writing and note taking Daily shift reports Access Control Investigate routine incidents Additional Duties as Assigned Job Requirements: Valid Security License for Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) Able to stand for up to 6-8 hours per shift Able to complete extensive patrolling of site Enforce Rules on site English communication (oral and written) required Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability Legally authorized to work in Canada Certification Requirements (All) First Aid and CPR - Level C Certification Valid Ontario Security License Additional Information / Benefits Paladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE !
