Job Responsibilities: • Maintain a professional, visible security presence • Greet, assist, and direct the public • Protect clients, staff, buildings, and assets • Work independently and as part of a team • Conduct interior/exterior patrols and respond to emergencies • Document and report incidents, investigate as required • Perform patient watches and enforce hospital policies/by-laws • Manage access control, keys, and parking enforcement • Support monthly safety inspections and other assigned duties • Additional duties as assigned Job Requirements: • Valid Ontario Security Guard License • Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider) • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination) • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) • • Steps to get your immunization records: https://paladinsecurity.com//wp-content/uploads/2023/07/How-to-get-immunization-records-Paladin.pdf • Immunization Form: KHSC Immunization Forms • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding) • 6+ months security experience (healthcare or non-healthcare preferred) • Full-time availability, minimum 6-month commitment • English proficiency (oral & written) required; bilingualism (English/French) an asset • 6+ months customer service experience preferred • Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe • • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the position • Please be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all the costs of the certification with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability • Authorized to legally work in Canada Certification Requirements (All) First Aid, CPR Level C Valid Ontario Security License Additional Information / Benefits Paladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE !
