Part Time Extended Day Assistant (Ages 9-14) at Near North Montessori School — NeverHard

Job Description Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Provide care for and lead/participate in activities for students enrolled in the extended day program Work collaboratively with extended day staff to plan fun, developmentally appropriate activities within the extended day environments (both indoor and outdoor) Assist with organization and preparation of the extended day rooms and other spaces used on a daily and weekly basis Assist students with transitions in and out of extended day, this includes other school activities, snack, carpool/pickup and more; ensuring safety at all times and following established school protocols for child pick up and drop off Clean the assigned extended day room and provide input into ideas for new material and room arrangement Update records and paperwork as directed by the supervisor Acquire professional training in the educational field by attending educational conferences, training workshops and other related activities Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
