Description Job Summary: The Parking Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of parking lots, garages, and surrounding areas. This role ensures a clean and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and visitors by performing routine cleaning, waste removal, and basic maintenance tasks. Pay: $20.00 an hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (English) ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) (Español) Responsibilities Sweep, pick up litter, and remove debris from parking lots, garages, sidewalks, and entryways Empty trash cans and recycling bins; replace liners as needed Clean oil spills, stains, and other hazardous materials using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions Power wash surfaces when required to maintain cleanliness and appearance Monitor and maintain cleanliness of stairwells, elevators, and pedestrian areas within parking facilities Report maintenance issues such as broken lights, damaged signage, potholes, or safety hazards Remove graffiti or report it for further action Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while handling cleaning materials Assist with seasonal duties such as leaf removal, snow clearing, or de-icing walkways Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous janitorial, maintenance, or outdoor cleaning experience is a plus Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment (e.g., pressure washers, leaf blowers, sweepers) Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
