As part of our ongoing digital transformation, we are enhancing our operational systems and traceability processes. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented team player to join our team as an Operations Systems Support Technician.
Job Description
Assist in the analysis, implementation, and support of operational software and digital workflow systems used in seafood processing
Support configuration and maintenance of traceability, inventory, pricing, quality control, and shipping systems (including traceability platforms such as TALLY)
Analyze plant processes and communicate system requirements to software providers or IT support teams
Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service providers to resolve technical problems
Maintain accurate operational data within company systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, time-tracking platforms, and other internal software
Provide training and ongoing support to staff regarding system usage and workflow procedures
Assist with data entry, reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks related to system operations and compliance
Support continuous improvement and optimization of digital processes within the plant
Requirement
Completion of a college diploma in computer systems technology, information systems, operations systems, or a related technical field
Minimum 1 2 years of experience supporting business or operational software systems in a manufacturing, food processing, or production environment preferred
Experience working with inventory management, traceability, workflow, or enterprise software systems
Experience coordinating with software vendors or IT service providers for troubleshooting and system configuration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational processes and translate them into system requirements
Ability to manage detailed data entry and documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Flexible to work hours aligned with plant operations
Job Types
Full-time, Permanent, 30 hours per week; early shifts may be required from time to time, starting as early as 4:00 a.m.
Wage: $33 per hour
Benefit: 2 weeks of paid vacation or remuneration 4% of gross salary
