In this position, the Occupational Health Nurse assures the quality, integrity, and value of health services while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Health & Safety professionals.

Look no further than this engineering opportunity at our Sarnia refinery where you will be accountable for providing engineering support to operations and maintenance to ensure the overall process integrity, safety and cost effective operation of the existing assets.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $118,000 and an annual incentive program
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Minimum Requirements
Five or more years of experience in a similar role
A post-secondary education in nursing and hold a current registration with College of Registered Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Advanced First Aid Course (ITLS, CPR level C) and BLS healthcare provider
Certified Occupational Health Nurse is considered an asset
Experience in health surveillance testing (audiometry, spirometry) and programs, as well as conducting new hire medicals
Experience in disability case management and return to work programs
Responsibilities
Execute wellness strategies and initiatives while ensuring a high standard of quality, integrity and value of our health services
Perform health surveillance programs including health evaluations
Attend to medical emergency related incidents as requested by the on-duty Emergency Coordinator, in accordance with medical procedures/protocols approved by Suncor’s medical director
Health Consultation Fitness for Work/ non-occupational and occupational injury and Illness Management
Support and lead the execution of wellness and education/training strategies
Collect and analyze comprehensive medical information and confidential medical records
Support disability case management and facilitate return to work programs as well as liaising and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders
Manage onsite clinic daily standard work
Location & Other Key Details
You will work out of our Sarnia refinery in Ontario, located at 1900 St. Clair Parkway
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will be based on years of experience and scope of work
