Description Position # : 173023 Expected Start Date: August 17, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Victoria Hospital City/Town: Prince Albert Department: General Medical Nursing Unit - Medicine - Vic Level 6 Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 17, 2026 FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 12 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job Description: Ensures all work is in alignment with the organization's missions, goals, values, and strategic plans to promote high quality, safe client care. This is accomplished by assisting in establishing and maintaining best practice; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating unit orientation, in-servicing and other educational programming; assessing learning needs; acting as a clinical resource; promoting client and family centered care; participating in committee work as assigned; participating in continuous improvement activities; developing and maintaining client and staff resources. Incumbent functions as a member of the interprofessional clinical team to promote effective delivery of client care, including regular direct communication and input from the unit manager(s) of Nursing.
