Job Summary Develop creative, sustainable landscape designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, and maintenance considerations. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to produce site plans, construction documentation, and oversee implementation. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental analysis to inform design decisions. Prepare conceptual designs, schematic plans, and detailed landscape drawings including hard and soft landscaping elements. Produce construction documentation, specifications, and cost estimates for tendering and construction. Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and municipal authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and integration with site services. Present design proposals and revisions to clients and stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final plans. Provide construction administration, site inspections, and quality control during project implementation. Requirements Degree or diploma in landscape architecture or a closely related field. Several years of professional experience in landscape design, site planning, or related project delivery. A demonstrable portfolio of completed design projects across a range of site types. Proficiency using design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM tools. Knowledge of planting design, horticultural principles, construction materials, and methods. Familiarity with municipal permitting processes, relevant building codes, and environmental regulations.
