.NET Developer - Equities Back office at Talan — NeverHard

Job Description Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week) Visa Sponsorship: Talan does not sponsor U.S. work permits or employment visas. We're looking for a .NET Developer who's comfortable living in a production support environment. This isn't a pure "build from scratch" role. You'll be maintaining and improving a live equities back office system that a trading desk depends on every day. Role and responsibilities Handle daily support and resolve escalated tickets, working closely with business and technical teams to fix issues fast Write, debug, and refactor code in .NET to improve and stabilize the existing system Support and maintain scripts in Perl, Unix Shell, and Windows batch for scheduled jobs and automation Follow formal Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes Participate in requirements discussions and help shape solutions with the team Build new features or small applications when the roadmap calls for it Keep documentation up to date as the system evolves
