We are seeking a highly skilled
Nanofabrication Technician
to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various nanofabrication processes and a strong ability to execute precise, detail-oriented work. You enjoy spending your day in a cleanroom environment, collaborating daily with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and other technical experts to push the boundaries of innovation.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
Operate a variety of nanofabrication equipment, including but not limited to:
deposition systems
lithography tools
etching systems
characterization tools.
Execute fabrication processes according to detailed procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop and optimize new processes.
Maintain meticulous records of process parameters, equipment performance, and experimental results.
Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines.
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
2+ years of hands-on experience in nanofabrication.
Associate's degree/diploma or equivalent technical training in a related field.
Broad knowledge of multiple nanofabrication processes, including:
thin film deposition
wet processing
lithography
etching, and characterization.
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
Openness to work flexible hours in a cleanroom environment (this role is based on a 40-hour work week).
Ability to work at multiple locations within the greater Vancouver Area.
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
