REQUIREMENTS:
Must have NYS Teaching Assistant certification
Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
Bilingual preferred
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Demonstrate knowledge of various assessment tools, including running records and other instructional assessment practices.
Implement instructional resources and activities under the direction of the classroom teacher to support student learning, growth, and progress across content areas.
Effectively work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs.
Exhibit a commitment to continuous professional growth and active participation in a collaborative professional learning community.
Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, administrators, and families in support of student success.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the school and its students.
