Job DescriptionJob Description Service Coordinator – Day or Evening Shift Brampton, Ontario | Distribution and Transportation Services Permanent | Fully On-site Salary: $55,000–$63,000 Our client, an established North American distribution and service organization, is looking for two Service Coordinators to join its growing team in Brampton. Available Schedules : Evening Shift Monday to Friday 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Five 8.5-hour shifts, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch Day Shift Four 10-hour shifts per week 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday About the Role The Service Coordinator acts as the central communication point between customers and mobile service technicians. You will manage incoming service requests, dispatch technicians and ensure urgent repairs are handled quickly and efficiently. This is a fast-paced position where priorities can change quickly, making clear communication, organization and sound judgment essential. Main Responsibilities Handle incoming calls for the mobile service department Create and schedule regular and emergency service calls Dispatch mobile technicians according to urgency, location and availability Communicate service updates clearly to customers, truck drivers and technicians Prepare and maintain accurate work orders and service records Coordinate parts and other requirements needed to complete repairs Follow up on active service calls and adjust priorities when required Provide professional customer service in high-pressure situations Complete additional administrative and coordination duties as needed What We Are Looking For At least two years of experience in dispatching, service coordination or a similar role Experience scheduling and dispatching mobile or field technicians Compensation and Benefits Salary between $55,000 and $65,000 Discretionary year-end bonus based on company performance Medical, dental and vision coverage after 90 days, with 80% coverage RRSP contribution matching of up to $1,000 annually Two weeks of vacation Stable, family-owned organization Employee recognition programs and company events Supportive manager with extensive experience in the organization No travel required The work environment is business casual and built around loyalty, integrity and quality.
