Job Description
CEDA is currently seeking Millwright Journeyman to join the Dredging and Fluid Management team at Imperial Oil's, Kearl Lake. This is a full time, site based opportunity with camp and flights provided.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to all rotating and stationary equipment within the dredging and fluid management fleet (dredges, tender boats, and 3x4 to 16x16 positive displacement pumps
Perform critical laser flange alignment on pieces of equipment
Execute scopes of work in accordance with Transport Canada standards
Repair, fabricate or replace defective machinery components and follow up testing/calibrate on repairs
Rig and move machinery and parts
Assist operations start up and shutdown of equipment according to appropriate safety procedures and governing standards
Interpret schematics and read service manuals to determine work procedures
Establish and communicate task lists, order parts, and bill of materials required for scopes of work
Ensure all health, safety and environment practices and paperwork are complete for all day to day activities
Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications
Journeyman Millwright Red Seal required
Comprehensive mechanical understanding of dredges, pontoons, ladder winches, and cutter heads (1+ years of experience)
Ability to read and understand piping and instrument diagrams
Class 5 Driver’s licence required
Ability to complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
Skills
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Computers are your friend, not your enemy (Sharepoint and Manager Plus software will be used)
You’re meticulous – you have no problem completing the required paperwork for projects and jobs
You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
