We are constantly developing, and daily we struggle with routine and standards. We are changing the industry, changing the playing field, so you can change the damn world. Mission Brazy — To turn life into an interesting game! Vision Brazy — To be one of the world leaders in the entertainment industry! Reason for opening: regular release of short vertical videos and YouTube videos. Team: 1 Lead, 2 SMMs, 2 AI Content Creators, 1 Copywriter, 1 Poster, 3 UGC Creators, 3 Community Managers. Who will the candidate directly interact with: UGC Creators and the SMM team. About the Role: The Video Editor will be responsible for editing a high volume of short vertical UGC videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and VK about Standoff 2, PUBG Mobile, and Counter-Strike, as well as long-form YouTube videos: reviews, digests, tournament videos, and promos. You will work closely with our On-Camera Creator: picking the best moments from footage, building videos with a strong opening in the first 1-2 seconds, and keeping the pace till the end. The volume is around 25 short videos and 1 long-form video per week. Tasks are planned in advance, and the pace gets higher around tournaments and releases. Requirements: 2+ years of commercial experience in video editing, preferably short-form vertical content, UGC, or social media video production. A relevant video editing portfolio is mandatory. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered. You play Standoff 2, PUBG Mobile, or Counter-Strike yourself and know the games, their communities, memes, and terminology. Deep understanding of the Russian-speaking gaming audience: humor, memes, slang, and content styles. Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts: pacing, audience retention, first 1-3 second hooks, subtitles, transitions, sound design, and viral mechanics. Ability to turn raw footage into dynamic and engaging videos. Strong sense of rhythm, timing, visual storytelling, and humor. Confident use of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with CapCut. Ability to work with a high volume of short-form videos, meet deadlines, receive feedback, and quickly implement revisions. Deep understanding of TikTok culture, Gen Z memes, and current short-form trends. Skills in motion design, simple animation, masking, tracking, keying, and visual effects. Experience using AI tools for editing, asset generation, subtitles, or production workflow optimization. Understanding of short-form content metrics (retention, watch time, completion rate, engagement rate) and ability to use them to improve editing. Ability to independently suggest ideas, references, meme inserts, and editing solutions rather than only following strict technical briefs. Education or additional training in Video Production, Video Editing, Motion Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or SMM. List of technologies: Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. CapCut. Adobe After Effects (as a plus). TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, VK. Google Drive. AI tools for video editing and content creation. Add subtitles, graphics, meme inserts, sounds, music, effects, transitions, zooms, color, CTA, and other elements required for native short-form content. Edit long-form YouTube videos (around 1 per week): structure, removing pauses, gameplay inserts, graphics, sound, and thumbnails. Cut Shorts and vertical clips from long videos and tournament recordings. Adapt and export videos for each platform and format. Monitor social media trends and adapt current editing techniques to the projects. Proactively suggest ideas, references, and editing solutions that can improve views, retention, and engagement. Take part in brainstorming sessions with the UGC Creator and SMM team, discuss scripts, content ideas, and editing approaches.
