Metal Shop Technician - 1st Shift at Mission Critical Group - EECOE — NeverHard

Job Description The Metal Shop Technician will assist in fabrication and assembly of custom Switchgear structures of varying size and scope to meet client and product specs and prepare the same for shipment. Good understanding of machinery safety. Use hand and small power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills as required. Must be able to read and understand blueprints. Infrequent travel may be required for install/service. Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 4x10 schedule, 1st Shift Accountabilities: Assist with the handling of raw steel and copper. Assist in operation of metal shop machinery, including punch, brake, shear and saws. Weld sheet metal goods and prep for coating. Assemble metalwork and handle sheet metal goods. Follow blueprint diagrams. Be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. Fabrication, including saw cutting and drilling. May be required to cross train, supporting other sections of the Company. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Performs other duties as assigned.
