LCSWs and LMFTs are encouraged to consider a full-time Clinician position with Liberty Healthcare’s forensic mental health program in San Diego County. Program overview Liberty Healthcare’s program operates within multiple San Diego County jail facilities and exclusively serves inmates who have been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to mental illness. The goal of the program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible. Clinician job responsibilities Providing mental health services to clients one-to-one and in-person Performing psychosocial evaluations Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychoeducation and crisis intervention Documenting treatment and progress Participating in clinical team meetings Consulting and collaborating with clinical, ancillary and security staff Work setting You will split time working onsite at these two jail facilities: The Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility at 451 Riverview Parkway in Santee, CA 92071 The Rock Mountain Detention Facility at 406 Alta Road in San Diego, CA 92158 (nearby Otay Mesa) Schedule You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Pay and benefits Starting pay between $90,000 and $120,000 (depending on qualifications) Health, dental, and vision insurance 30 days of paid time off each year for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days FSA, 401k plan, and other perks Full details on Liberty's benefits plan are available at www.libertyhealthcare.com/upload/143.pdf You must be licensed professionally in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) You should be willing and able to work onsite at both jail locations noted above.
