Western Community College has been a pioneer in offering various health care programs. With the intent to offer the Medical Office Assistant program, WCC invites applications from eligible and experienced candidates for the position of Instructor for the Medical Office Assistant Program.
Job Title: MOA Instructor (MOA Essentials Program)
Responsibilities:
Provide instruction andfacilitatestudent learning according to the approvedMOAcurriculum whenrequired.
Prepare, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress.
Maintainaccurateandtimelyrecords of attendance, grades, and student evaluationsin accordance withCollegepolicies.
Advise students on program requirements, career opportunities, and practicum readiness.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment aligned with healthcare education best practices.
Qualifications:
Certificate or diploma ina relevant fieldfrom a recognized institution (MOA diploma, etc.) or, in the absence of a formal credential, at least 10 years of recent, relevant work experienceasMOAorin arelated role.
A minimum of2-4years of recent, relevant work experience isrequiredif holding a credential.
Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary institution is preferred.

Fixed-term contract from May 29, 2026, to July 10, 2026 (orientation may be scheduled before the expected start date)
Schedule:
In-person classes, Fridays only from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM (7 paid hours)
