Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technologist reports to the Manager of the Advanced Diagnostics team.
Accountabilities:
Responsibilities within this modality include but are not limited to
Perform the range of tests and procedures related to immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology
Performing, interpreting and releasing results
Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
Ensure that the work of assigned staff meets quality and safety standards; identifies opportunities for improvement
Perform projects, validations and proficiency testing as directed by charge technologist or director
