Job DescriptionJob Description Lead Mechanic / Foreman – Bad Guy Motors Location: Medicine Hat, Alberta Position Type: Full-Time, Immediate Start About Bad Guy Motors Bad Guy Motors is a premier custom truck fabrication and diesel performance shop specializing in high-end builds, diesel performance tuning and deletes, suspension work, custom fabrication, hot rod builds, and complete custom interiors and wiring. We're a growing operation with a reputation for quality craftsmanship and taking on the builds others won't touch. The Role We're looking for an experienced Lead Mechanic / Foreman to take charge of our mechanical operations and lead our team. You'll manage complex diesel and performance builds from intake to completion, oversee quality standards, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate workflow across multiple simultaneous projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor mechanical team members Execute complex diesel performance tuning, suspension builds, and engine swaps Manage project timelines and coordinate between fabrication, mechanical, and custom finishing teams Perform diagnostic work and provide technical direction on challenging builds Ensure work meets our quality standards and shop reputation Communicate directly with customers on project status and technical decisions Handle equipment maintenance and shop operations as needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience (diesel, performance, or hot rod work preferred) Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Proficiency with performance tuning platforms and modern engine management systems Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Valid driver's license and willingness to participate in test drives / dyno sessions Problem-solving mindset and willingness to tackle unconventional builds What We Offer Competitive wages commensurate with experience Immediate start date available Opportunity to work on high-end custom and performance builds Leadership role with growth potential Team environment with experienced fabricators and technicians Work on diverse projects (diesels, hot rods, suspension, engine swaps, custom builds) Benefits (After 3 Months) Health and dental coverage RRSP matching program Paid time off Tools and safety equipment allowance Performance bonuses based on project completion Application Ready to bring your skills to Bad Guy Motors?
