What's in it for you? + **Pay range is $27.90 - $37.74 depending on experience** + Weekly pay schedule + Competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) + Performance recognition programs + Onsite cafeteria with convenient meal options + Rotating food trucks offering variety and flexibility + Outdoor recreational amenities including volleyball and basketball courts, plus walking trails for breaks and fresh air Responsibilities for Materials Buyer jobs include: + Negotiate pricing and manages non-strategic suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services + Issue RFQs, evaluates bids, negotiates pricing/delivery, and manages purchase orders from creation through completion + Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify suppliers and maintain inventory levels + Resolve procurement, receiving, and accounting issues while following established purchasing processes + Use SAP and Ariba for purchasing, data analysis, inventory tracking, and reporting + Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and performance to support sourcing decisions + Apply supply chain and inventory management knowledge in daily procurement activities + Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to support operations + Use negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support sourcing decisions + Work within guidelines to resolve issues and improve processes + Supports or leads small projects and assists less experienced team members Requirements: + Bachelor's degree + 1-3 years (entry) or 3-5 years (intermediate) experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain + Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement strategies, inventory management, logistics, and contract/vendor management + Proficiency in SAP and Ariba with strong data analysis and reporting skills + Experience evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability + Strong negotiation, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills + Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and follow established procurement processes + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities + Ability to support or lead small projects and assist less experienced team members + Willingness to work onsite full-time in Austin, TX with overtime as required For instant consideration for this Materials Buyer job, click on Apply Now! **Pay Details:** $27.90 to $37.74 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
