Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an energetic and safety-focused Material Handler to work at our Burnaby facility! Schedule : Afternoon shift, 2:30pm to 10:00pm. Compensation: $31/hr to $35/hr based on experience Monthly, uncapped profit-sharing RRSP matching Extended health & dental Boot allowance 2-3 weeks of paid vacation Responsibilities: Organizes materials into well-arranged piles Handles materials to meet customer requirements Transfers materials in and out of bins, dumps, trailers, and railcars Recognizes potential risks and takes steps to maintain safety and environmental standards Carries out routine upkeep, including inspections, lubrication, and blade adjustments Operates independently when working off-site Qualifications: Experience or training in operating various heavy equipment, including excavators, mobile shears, material handlers, and wheel loaders Previous work with metals or in demolition is considered an advantage Strong communication and customer service abilities Familiarity with standard safety procedures High school diploma or GED certification Ability to pass regular random drug and alcohol screening #BRBC
