Material Handler Canaan, CT 1 Year Contract 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Weekly 80.50 hours[Mon-Mon] pay range -$16-20/hr Comments/Special Instructions $14.00 per hour. A Crew. Rotating days on and off. 30 minute paid break as long as the contingent worker stays on-site. Non-smoking facility and premises including the parking lot. If the contingent worker leaves for break, the time out and return must be recorded and is not paid. No jewelry allowed including wedding bands. Dress code, no shorts, no open toed/heeled shoes. Long pants required, shirts with sleeves, no offensive pictures or language. Qualifications: Follows instructions and works within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required. Works under direct supervision. . Responsibilities: Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process, and finished goods), parts, and supplies, to operators, work stations and distribution center. Uses hand/or electric trucks (excluding forklifts). Keeps accurate logs (both written and electronic versions). Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.
