Position:Material Handler – PRESS SHOPShifts:Afternoon (Monday – Thursday 3:30pm – 2:00am) Precision Resource offers: Shift premium – afternoon shift 10% Benefits package including health, dental, life and CI RRSP/DPSP with match Annual bonus based on division profitability Vacation and flexible paid holidays Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs Tuition reimbursement and paid training Work with an established team of long-term employees Responsibilities: Performs daily pre-shift audits on lift truck and overhead cranes Off-load coils of steel from trailers, safely store and receive in manufacturing system Will stack, store and move product throughout the facility Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination, using hand-operated crane or hoist Load/unload uncoilers/cradles and logs inventory in manufacturing system Responsible for weighing, wrapping bins/skids and preparing labels Reads work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Practice 5 S principles Use computer to accurately enter all Company required information Attend all company specified training Other duties as assigned within the general scope of manufacturing Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Minimum 1 year of safe forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment Shipping/Receiving experience is an asset We thank all applicants for applying.
