Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Material Handler Job Description The Material Handler supports production and customer service operations by performing kitting, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and SAP transactions. This role operates forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensures accurate and timely movement of materials, and maintains organized inventory using FIFO principles. The Material Handler follows documented work instructions, adheres to safety and quality standards, and collaborates closely with planners, engineers, and other departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform kitting, picking, packing, and SAP transactions to support production and customer service requirements. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently. Stock and put away inventory, organize shelves, and kit parts while respecting FIFO (First In, First Out) principles. Pack and ship a variety of orders accurately and in a timely manner. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving orders. Pick customer orders for shipping and ensure correct items and quantities are prepared for outbound shipments. Check in incoming products, issue materials, and deliver products to other departments as required. Monitor breakdown orders and coordinate with planners and engineers to release outbound orders and perform necessary checks. Essential Skills Experience with material handling. Valid lift truck license (if you do not have one, you must be willing to get one after being hired) Ability to safely lift 35+ lbs on a regular basis. Effective organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to use a computer to view, log, and find job-related information in systems such as SAP and FTPC. Shifts This position operates on an afternoon shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m OR on a day shift from Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2:00pm. Start Date July 6th, 2026 Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.77 - $25.77/hr.
